So I Bought a 50mm Lens and Walked Around Town

I managed to get a 50mm off of German Ebay which proved to be a fun experience. These were a few shots where I was playing around with the depth of field and natural lighting in the evenings. Additionally, I was going through a strange black and white kick but didn’t realize it until I picked all of these out and noticed that – wham – they were all black and white!

I won’t bore you with the long version of the story but I made a good friend here and he likes to cook.

And build stuff….

While I was snapping a shot of the work area, he mad made “homemade” sparking mint water.

This was a fountain that I passed almost every day when I would walk into town. It never looked appealing until I went and sat on a bench nearby.

This was shot in my kitchen – basically as soon as I hooked the lens up to the camera.
