During a trip home from Germany, I rode shotgun with Mrs. Fake Doctor on a work trip to San Antonio. We split some type of bean sprout sandwich at a cool coffee shop and then she left to make that paper. I was on my own for about three hours to shoot. Below is what I came across while walking from outside of town back into the town center.
This shot was me attempting to snag a photo out the car window while driving to San Antonio. I was using a continuous release mode on this one.
20 mm f/5.6, ISO 100, 1/640 sec
This photo was taken right around the center of town walking over a bridge. I thought the old school riveted look of the bridge was an interested focus point.
35 mm f/1.8, ISO 100, 1/3200 sec
The next shot was taken while I was walking through the Alamo which is in the center of San Antonio and has some historic significance (Wiki). It was pretty hot the day I was walking around and people and animals alike were looking for shade and water. This spot had both – I can say I didn’t drink out of the water fountain after the squirrel did.
35 mm f/1.8, ISO 100, 1/500 sec
While walking on a less popular path on the Riverwalk (Wiki), I can around a corner that had this cool staircase and some overgrowth. I had to mess with some angles but I think I ended up with something cool.
35 mm f/1.8, ISO 100, 1/400 sec (B&W Conversion)
Towards the end of my walk I found this cool small amphitheater where I think they have bands play when it’s cooler outside. After working on some framing I ended up with this.
