First An Explanation

My name is Kevin and I’m an engineer for a big ol’ chemical company. In the second half of 2017, the aforementioned chemical company saw it fit to send me to Germany for six months. I have never been a person who took pictures but when I started getting out and exploring I had difficulty explaining to everyone back home exactly what I was seeing.

Like any good engineer would do, I did quite a bit of research on cameras, lenses and other stuff (shoutout to Shotkit and Ken Rockwell), and finally bought an combination of new and used goods to piece together my setup. Right now my weapon of choice is a Nikon D3300 with one of three lenses: 35mm f/1.8G, 50mm f/1.8G and 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR.

What you’ll find on this page is a collection of photos (and sometimes explanations) I’ve taken over my short tenure as a person who attempts to take photos (I just can’t bring myself to call myself a photographer…..yet).

As a side note, all these images are mine. Don’t be stealing them………
